Willie Green, Delta style bluesman - born in Montgomery, Alabama in the early 1930s, Willie worked many years with a rural share crop family. He learned the blues early on in his teens when he would hitchhike or hop a freight train to town to hear the old blues masters in the juke joints.

Willie's Blues Project Band includes Fats Lewis, Doug Carn, Paully Lentz, Juan Rollin, Rick Ambrose and at times, Joe Payne. FATS LEWIS is a 40-year veteran who has played with many greats including The Drifters, The Clovers, Little Anthony & the Imperials, Nancy Wilson and Fats Domino and Branford Marcalis, to name a few . Called "The Gangster of the Blues," Fats has taken music from R&B to Jazz to another level. His backings include some of the best musicians in the state of Florida. The band was featured at the Jacksonville Jazz Festival in 1996 and has played many other festivals and special events. An exciting, action packed entertainer geared to the listener as well as the dancer, Fats started out on drums and was on of the top 10 drummers in the Northeast under the studies of Gene Krupa, Buddy Rich and Al Miller. Eventually adding guitar to his act, his unique Rhythm and Blues style with a touch of Jazz, gained him much recognition as one of the greats.,. Add to his arsenal of talent his incredible voice with a range that effortlessly covers any style and known for his quick wit, the only thing surpassing his many talents is his love of performing and pleasing an audience no matter how big or small.

Destined from birth to become a part of the world of music, Doug Carn (on Hammond keyboards and part of the original Earth, Wind, and Fire, and an internationally known Jazz pianist), was born in New York City and raised in St. Augustine, Florida, where his mother, Gwendolyn Seniors Carn, taught music in the St. Johns County Public School System. Her unique and special teaching abilities provided a fertile ground for his future development. Doug is one of the most famous artists of the Soul Jazz scene. ...PAULLY LENTZ, bass (Freddy Hubbard Jazz band, many more), JUAN ROLLIN, tenor & alto sax (Jazz and R&B known), and RICK AMBROSE, drums (original KANSAS 1970 tour, original Albatross, original Red Barons)
